Join this Exciting ATV Quad adventure, during which you will travel through beautiful Dominican countryside and spend time on the beach. We also provide a full lunch of local cuisine and rum drinks, which we offer you on the way back to the port!
The fun begins only 15 minutes from the port in our base in Maimon. Before we start, we will give you all the gear, a full safety briefing, and you can ask any questions. Then we will go and explore the stunning Dominican countryside along the Atlantic Ocean coast. We will first travel through the charming village of Maimon to our first stop. There is a great photo opportunity where you can take pictures on the beach with the cruise ship behind you at the port.
Along the way, you will experience life in the campo and certainly meet some of the local Dominican people, who are always friendly and smiling. It is also not uncommon to see animals on the road like chickens and wild turkeys, even pigs or donkeys. At our next stop, we will find an authentic cigar house, where you can learn all about how they make the cigars and also see them in action. While you are there, you can try a little mamajuana (our local rum delight), chocolate and local organic hot coffee.
After visiting the cigar house, you will return to the quads, drive along by the river and down a trail through the backcountry before arriving at the beach. Here you will enjoy a delicious Dominican lunch and can relax on the sunbeds, or if you prefer, swim in the ocean before returning to the ship. Finally, when you have finished all the driving, we provide local rum drinks on the way back to the port to finish off a perfect day.

IMPORTANT: We need to have at least 4 ATVs booked to operate this tour. If we do not get enough bookings, we will contact you before the tour and offer you a full refund, or you can switch to an alternative tour.
Port Pickup Info
Meeting Point:
We have to pick you up at the main entrance of the terminal on the road. As it is an independent tour, the cruise lines do not allow us to pick you up inside the terminal. When we receive your reservation, we will send you the confirmation receipt with all the instructions, and a map so that you can easily find the meeting point. We leave 45 minutes after the boat docks, and it takes about 12-15 minutes to walk from the boat, so make sure you leave enough time to get there.
What To Bring
You should bring a swimsuit and a towel if you want to swim at the beach stop. Also, make sure you wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty during the tour. Suncream, sunglasses and a bandana are also advised.

Important Information:
Don’t worry if your ship is late or does not come into port! We offer full refunds on tours not able to run for these reasons. If it is just a little late and we can still run the tour, we will shorten the lunch to make up for the lost time, so you still get to enjoy the activity and get back to the boat in time.
